PrintSolar Develops Titan 130-based Mobile Power Package

Solar Turbines Incorporated used the recent PowerGen International show to announce the availability of its new Titan 130 Mobile Power Unit to address the demand for peaking power. The core of the Mobile Power Unit is the recently uprated 14.9 MW Titan 130 industrial gas turbine. The Titan 130 Mobile Power Unit is a trailer-mounted system that is highway transportable and easy to install and relocate, making it ideal for rental fleets and utility equipment pools. The compact footprint minimizes the space requirements at substations or commercial and industrial facilities. The unit comes standard with the low emissions SoLoNOx dry low NOx combustions system technology for environmentally friendly easily permitable use.
