Waukesha Engine’s new APG Series of high-efficiency, low-emission engines for the world power generation market were recently introduced at the Power-Gen International. With the introduction of the APG Series, Waukesha’s product lineup moves to a higher level of advanced lean burn combustion with a new high-energy ignition system, fast burn rate and a new high-efficiency turbocharger.

“The APG Series is aimed at the large segment of the power generation market that demands high efficiency, low emissions and lower operating costs simultaneously,” said Paul Cannestra, vice president, marketing for Waukesha Engine, a business unit of Dresser Inc. “The APG Series is a bridge between the robust Waukesha Engine design that has been so highly valued by our traditional customer base and the state-of-the-art technology required by the power generation market.”
