2013 marks 90th anniversary for Kent, Washington, U.S.A.-based Rottler Manufacturing
Rottler produces small, medium and large multi-purpose CNC machining centers, seat and guide equipment, valve refacers, 5-axis porting machines, and surfacing, honing and boring machines.
The company said it is the only full-line manufacturer of machine tools to the performance racing, engine rebuilding, OEM manufacturing, locomotive, marine and natural gas industries.
After steady growth and two plant relocations, the company constructed its current 3250m2 manufacturing facility in Kent. In 2011, Rottler added an additional 1860m2 to the plant.
The company added that pioneering mechanical and machine control design has been a key to its success in leading the engine building market. Equally important has been the increased effort in export sales. On the heels of a record sales year, Rottler said it has increased export sales to more than 60% of its total.
