Marathon Sensors Inc. Opens Beijing Subsidiary

Marathon Sensors Inc. announced the opening of its wholly owned subsidiary in Beijing, China. Marathon Monitors and Control Systems Corporation (Beijing) Ltd. will provide sales and service for Marathon’s sensor, instrumentation, and control systems products to the Pacific Rim, bringing a new level of customer support to this rapidly growing market.

“Given Marathon’s position as a leader in heat treating probes and controls for the world and the incredible growth and importance of China in the overall market, establishing a Chinese subsidiary is a critical step to the continued success in Asia and to providing superior service to the customer,” stated Adam J. Meyers, Chairman of Marathon Sensors and Divisional Chief Executive of Halma Holdings’ Fluid Technology Division.

Coincident with the operational status of Marathon-Beijing, the Board of Marathon Sensors Inc. has appointed Dr. Eric Boltz, President of Marathon Sensors, as Chairman for Marathon-Beijing.
