FMC Technologies To Supply, Manufacture Subsea Equipment For Kirinskoye Field

FMC Technologies signed an agreement with Gazprom Dobycha Shelf LLC for the supply and manufacturing of subsea production equipment to support the Kirinskoye field. FMC’s scope of supply includes subsea production trees, a manifold, wellheads, multiphase meters, choke modules and subsea control modules.

Kirinskoye is a subsea-to-beach gas and condensate field off Russia’s Pacific coast. It is located in water depths of about 90 m within the Kirinsky Block of the Sakhalin III project, 28 km off the shore of Sakhalin Island.

FMC Technologies will manufacture and assemble the equipment at its facilities in Dunfermline, Scotland and Kongsberg, Norway and at FMC’s Multi Phase Meters AS (MPM) operation in Stavanger, Norway.

The agreement is worth $190 million in revenue to FMC Technologies. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2011.
