Reinhardt New Voith Turbo President

Carsten J. Reinhardt has been named president and chief executive officer at Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG. He also has been named a member of the Corporate Board of Management of Voith GmbH.

At Voith Turbo, Reinhardt succeeds Dr. Hubert Lienhard, who has held the president and CEO functions at the company since the beginning of the year. Lienhard remains as president and CEO of Voith GmbH.

Reinhardt has nearly 20 years of international management experience in commercial vehicles and powertrain manufacturing, starting in 1993 at the Commercial Vehicle Division of the former Mercedes-Benz AG, now Daimler AG, in Stuttgart, Germany. In 2003, he was appointed president and CEO of Daimler Trucks’ North American Engine business, Detroit Diesel Corp.

In 2006, Reinhardt joined Meritor Inc. as president and chief operating officer, responsible for the company’s Commercial Vehicle, Industrial and Aftermarket businesses.
