Stabilizing Natural Gas
Alfa Laval wins US$7.42 million natural gas order in Russia
Alfa Laval, a global provider of specialized products and engineering solutions based on its technologies of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling, has won an order to supply heat exchangers to a natural gas stabilization plant in Russia. The order is worth approximately US$7.42 million with delivery scheduled for 2015.
Alfa Laval said its compact welded heat exchangers will be used for heating and cooling the gas condensate, making it suitable for transport. The demands on the equipment are particularly high as the gas condensate originates from a reservoir located several thousand meters below the ground with very high pressure and temperature, the company said.
