Siemens to Supply Steam Turbines in Colorado
Siemens has recieved a contract for the supply of two steam turbines from Black Hills Colorado IPP to power two combined cycle power plants in Pueblo, Colorado, U.S.A.
The power plants have a rated output of 100 MW each and are expected to produce electricity for 93 000 households beginning in 2012. Siemens will supply two SST-400 turbines, transportation to the site and technical advisory services.
The first unit is scheduled to be delivered in February 2011 and the second in March 2011. Commissioning is expected for the end of 2011.
