Posted on May 6, 2011

Vogt Power International Inc., a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc., based in Danvers, Massachusetts, U.S.A., will supply heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and associated equipment for the CTCC Termocentro power plant for C. A. Electricidad de Caracas (EDC).

Vogt Power will design, fabricate and deliver four unfired, three-pressure level with reheat, natural circulation HRSGs, operating behind Siemens SGT6-5000F gas turbines.

The HRSGs will be installed at the CTCC Termocentro power plant, located near Caracas, Venezuela. The HRSGs will incorporate Vogt’s SMART design, which features modules, casing, interconnecting piping and some structural steel all combined in one box.
