2G To Establish Production Facility In Florida

Posted on May 9, 2012

2G Cenergy Power Systems Technologies Inc., a 2G Energy AG Group Co., will establish a U.S. production facility in St. Augustine, Florida, U.S.A., where it will produce its modular combined heat & power (CHP) energy conversion systems for all North & South American markets.

The company purchased a 5574 m2 facility in the St. Augustine Interstate Commercial Park as well as the adjacent lot for future expansion. Overall, the site is 4.1 hectares. With the new plant, 2G will bring about 125 new jobs to the area, and raise the company’s production capacity.

2G modular cogeneration systems are designed and manufactured “connection ready”. All plants are factory tested and come as complete modules, ranging between 200 kW/hr and 3 MW/hr.

2G-Cenergy has already sold more than 2300 installed CHP systems, with most of its projects at industrial facilities, factories, municipal waste management facilities, as well as waste water treatment plants and organic waste disposal sites in the United States. Those states consist of Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, Washington, Oregon, California, and the Carolinas.
