Stefan Carlsson has been appointed head of Region Europe within Volvo Penta. Carlsson succeeds Göran Gummeson, who was previously appointed President of Volvo Penta after Staffan Jufors who was named president of Volvo Trucks. Stefan Carlsson, currently CFO at Volvo Penta, will continue as a member of Volvo Penta Executive Team and will also take over Göran Gummeson’s segment responsibility for Marine Leisure Diesel. He will assume his new position on January 1, 2005. Tomas Fernbring has been appointed new CFO of Volvo Penta, succeeding Stefan Carlsson. Tomas Fernbring is currently CFO for Volvo Penta’s North American operations.
