Wärtsilä Sweden AB announced the decision to focus its service, maintenance and spare parts sales activities to Gothenburg, Sweden. This strategic decision is in line with the global Wärtsilä focus on Total Service. Wärtsilä’s units from Gothenburg and Trollhättan have already moved to the newly renovated facility. The Service unit situated in the Lindholmen area will have approximately 140 employees. Several of Wärtsilä’s sub-suppliers and partners also have operations in and around the Lindholmen area. Wärtsilä Sweden AB delivers spare parts, maintenance and services for Wärtsilä engines running on diesel or natural gas, complete propulsion systems and power plant and marine applications.
