Cummins will be displaying its EPA Tier 2 certified and IMO Tier II compliant 50-liter genset at the International Workboat Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A., December 2 - 4.
With propulsion and auxiliary ratings from 1193 - 1342 kW , the QSK50 was designed to be utilized in high-hour applications such as offshore support, towing, cargo and passenger vessels.
The display genset was designed by Cummins Mid-south in Kenner, Louisiana for barge power and features an ABS-classed Cummins QSK50 and ABS-classed Stamford PM734 marine alternator, providing 1100 kWe at 1800 r/min.
