ZF Marine Reorganizes

Posted on October 3, 2005

ZF Marine, LLC announced a new corporate structure for ZF Marine sales and service functions within North, Central, and South America. The new structure will include a pleasure craft market segment, headed by A.J. Halavacs, a commercial and fast craft market segment headed by Bud Bloom, a service segment headed by Gary Nelson, a propulsion segment headed by Keith Sparks, as well as a Latin America division managed by Wolfgang Schmid. In addition, John Shea has been appointed to the newly created position of Account Manager for Gasoline Engine Applications.

The new corporate structure falls in line with the established market segment structure of the ZF Marine Group that targets the pleasure, commercial and fast craft segments in order to develop a global customer/application base and provide closer customer relationships. This structure is designed to ensure that ZF Marine, LLC is well positioned to respond to the changing needs of today's marine market.

The change in corporate structure was implemented by Wolfgang Schmid, ZF Marine, LLC's new General Manager. Schmid believes that the new market segment structure will allow ZF to better accommodate customer requests through streamlined organization with enhanced service capabilities and faster reaction times.

ZF Marine, LLC is a member of the ZF Marine Group, headquartered at ZF Padova SpA Italy and offers complete marine propulsion systems, including transmissions, propellers, control systems, surface drives, shaft brakes and bearings.
