GE's LMS100 Gas Turbine Now Features DLE-2 Technology
GE is now offering its LMS100 gas turbine with new dry low emission (DLE-2) technology. The DLE-2 technology allows customers requiring low NOx emissions to meet the below 25 ppm requirement by eliminating a water injection system, GE said.
The LMS100, introduced in 2003, features 10-minute full power starts with load following capability, operational and fuel flexibility and has 46% efficiency in simple cycle, which is 10% greater than any of GE’s gas turbines currently on the market, according to the company. In combined cycle, the LMS100 efficiency is 54%.
The LMS100 can be used in simple-cycle, combined heat and power and combined-cycle applications for power generation and is available for mechanical drive applications.
