PrintO&M Deal for Wood Group in United States

Wood Group Power Operations, Inc, (WGPO) has won a 10 year gas turbine operations and maintenance contract in Sacramento, California, U.S.A. The contract involves providing full care, custody and control O&M services including mobilization, start-up and support and O&M services for two GE Frame 7FA gas turbines at the 500 MW combined-cycle Cosumnes Power Plant Phase l.
The contract also allows for O&M services for Phase ll to be provided by WGPO if it is built and if the Sacramento Municipal Utility District Financing Authority, which placed the contract, retains ownership. WGPO is part of the Gas Turbine Services Division of Aberdeen, Scotland-based Wood Group.
