Elliott Group To Supply 16 Compressor Trains To United Arab Emirates
Elliott Group has received a contract to supply 16 compressor trains for the Habshan 5 Process Plant, which is a part of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries’ (GASCO) integrated gas development project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
JGC Corp. and its partner Tecnimont, the engineering procurement contractors for the processing plant, issued the contract. The Habshan 5 project is a government initiative to meet the growing demand for gas resources within the United Arab Emirates. The project includes a gas processing plant, a sulfur recovery unit and a natural gas liquids recovery unit.
The compressor trains will be built at Elliott’s manufacturing facility in Sodegaura, Japan, and should be delivered in late 2012.
