GE, ZKMK Sign Long-Term Service Agreement
GE Oil & Gas has signed a long-term agreement with JSC ZKMK, a Kazak precision engineering plant operator. JSC ZKMK will service GE’s fleet of oil and gas turbomachinery equipment installed in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central Asia region.
According to the agreement, ZKMK will handle repair service on GE’s range of gas turbines and centrifugal compressors installed in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, such as Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
GE will provide ZKMK with the technical training and services necessary to support a localized services operation, while JSC ZKMK will invest in the modification of its Uralsk, Kazakhstan manufacturing facility.
