Quadrant Now Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials

Quadrant, the global supplier of a broad range of polymer materials and components to the land-based and subsea oil & gas industries, announced that it is now officially Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials (MCAM).

The company called it a crucial stepping stone in the history of the Quadrant Group, which includes EPP and CMS. The name Mitsubishi Chemical, is part of the new corporate identity, while Advanced Materials represents the company’s diverse capabilities as part of the parent company, Mitsubishi Chemical Corp.

“This name change brings the strengths and potential of two companies together,” said Michael Koch, global CEO, MCAM. “Mitsubishi partnered with the Quadrant Group to leverage their proven track record of generating solutions for customers. Now that the extensive list of products and solutions that Mitsubishi has in their portfolio are available, the company can venture into other market segments and applications that were untouchable before. With this name change, everything is being brought under one roof to customers.”

MCAM supplies stock shapes as well as finished part solutions for global clients in the compressor and pump market. Products include polymer labyrinth seals, diffuser and shroud materials, wear rings, collar bushings, polymer vanes, impellers and pistons, thrust washers, packing set materials and valve plates and poppets.
