“I would like to thank Prof. Thomas for his thoughtful management of the Audit Committee during this challenging period,” said Joe Kaeser, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy AG. “I am pleased that with Laurence Mulliez we have a worthy successor who has excellent experience from international boards.”

The eight-member Audit Committee is one of the most important committees of the Supervisory Board. Its tasks include monitoring the accounting process, the internal control system, and the audit of the financial statements. Mulliez is an internationally respected financial expert who has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy since September 2020. She has many years of leadership experience in the industry.
