Donaldson Co., Inc. has promoted Jeffrey E. Spethmann to senior vice president, Industrial Products. In this role, Spethmann is be responsible for leading the global strategy and execution within Donaldson’s Industrial segment, which includes Gas Turbine Systems, Industrial Filtration Solutions and Special Applications. He reports to Tod Carpenter, president and chief executive officer.

Spethmann, 51, had been vice president of Donaldson’s global Industrial Air Filtration business. Before taking that role in 2014, he was vice president for the company’s exhaust and emissions business after re-joining Donaldson in 2013.

Beyond his recent experience at Donaldson, Spethmann had worked at the company for 11 years in a variety of engineering and leadership positions. Earlier, he was President of Blow Molded Specialties, a contract manufacturer of blow molded parts and assemblies, as well as president and CEO of investment casting specialist Waltek.
