PrintBombardier Recieves Train Order

Adding to the contract from Régio2N signed with SNFC on behalf of the French Regions, Bombardier recieved an order for 49 more regional double-deck trains. This order will increase production at Bombadier's site in Crespin, France, to up to 60 trains per year. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in June 2013 and a total of 129 tains, ordered to date, will be delivered by mid-2016.
The double-deck design developed for Regions include a module concept to meet suburban and intercity service needs, wide-body cars and an ariculated architecture and wide connectors. The trains are equipped with the Bombardier Mitrac permament magnet motor propulsion system.
