GE Energy Rental Power for Golf Championship

GE Energy recently supplied rental power generation equipment for the World Golf Championships - American Express Championship held in Ireland. Through its rentals division, the company supplied 22 generator sets to deliver approximately 4000 kW of temporary power and eight heat-pump chillers to provide more than 1000 kW of temporary heating and cooling. In addition, GE provided other equipment to distributed the heating and air conditioning to the various facilities. GE also supplied 24 mobile lighting towers to illuminate the greens as they were cut before dawn each day – the lights were also used for the temporary car parks.
