PrintIndustrial Acoustics Acquires GT Exhaust
The acquisition is consistent with IAC’s strategy to expand in the North American markets.
Industrial Acoustics Company Inc. (IAC), a noise and acoustic control company, has completed the acquisition of GT Exhaust Inc. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, GT is a provider of sound and emissions control solutions to the North American energy, power, and heavy transportation industries and will become a subsidiary of IAC.
GT’s product line includes silencers, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filter (DPFs), emissions monitoring systems, and related accessories, which are used in new installation and retrofit applications for large diesel and natural gas engines. The acquisition is consistent with IAC’s strategy to expand in the North American markets and gives the company access to a large range of market leading products as well as an established and strong customer base consisting of some of the world’s leading blue-chip companies, the company said.
