Company slimming its Energy Sector, discontinuing Solar & Hydro Division

As part of its own program that emphasizes a stronger focus on core activities, Siemens is changing its business strategy in regards to renewable energy.
The company will divest its solar business activities and focus its renewable energy work on wind and hydro power.
As part of this reorganization, Siemens’ Energy Sector will be slimmed down and the Solar & Hydro Division will be discontinued.
