Hengst Names Plücker VP of Industrial Filtration Group

Filtration specialist Hengst said it is preparing for further growth by increasing its staff. Since Volker Plücker has been named Group Vice President Industrial Filtration. Prior to joining the company, he was, among other things, responsible for Mann + Hummel’s industrial filtration business for 12 years. He then became CEO of Weber Hydraulik and finally CEO of the Filtration Group for the area of the acquired Mahle Industrial Filtration.

Volker Plücker will become part of the Hengst management team and will report directly to CEO Christopher Heine.

“Irrespective of the current situation in the market, we are continuing to pursue our strategic goals and are expanding this business unit sustainably,” said Heine. “We are very pleased about the reinforcement. With his many years of experience, Mr. Volker Plücker will make a central contribution to the positive further development of the Hengst Group.”
